About John Romero

Rochester Roots

As a young boy I grew up in Rochester, New York which became known as “Kodak City” because at that time Eastman Kodak Company became a world power when it came to photography and film.

My dad introduced me to the hobby of photography when I was 8 with a 110 Instamatic camera and eventually I grew to the Kodak Disc Camera. Later when I was was 12 I wanted a “real” camera so I worked all summer washing cars and mowing lawns to buy my first “real” camera, the Fuji STX-1. It was an SLR body that had interchangeable lenses. I quickly learned about the camera and the fun hobby. I even joined the Kodak Camera Club and processed my own film and pictures in the dark room. Eventually I moved from the analog world of film to digital. Now as a photographer I get instant feedback on the capture and can adjust the scene or lighting to make it great!

My Photography Addiction Continues

My passion for photography delights my clients and all her see my work. I enjoy the subjective and personal touch of a portrait and family photo. Capturing one’s loved one or special event such as a wedding, birthday or graduation has personal meaning to each every person I come in contact with.

i enjoy using light to my advantage. Natural light can be challenging to manipulate and that is where I shine. Natural light also works really well with skin tones. Each person’s complexion is unique and it is my job to capture you or your loved one in a favorable and flattering light.

Photographers such as myself help you remember those special times for years to come so easy. In the context of George Eastman once said, “let me push the button. I will do the rest.”

Let's capture some memories together...
